NACC Quality Assurance Initiative:
Endorsed by the members of the NACC in 2008, the Quality Assurance Initiative was established to set the standards for quality control for career colleges. The Canadian Education and Training Accreditation Commission (CETAC) was originally established in 1984 as a third party to develop and implement quality control measures for Canadian career colleges.
On April 6th 2009 CETAC released a new set of accreditation standards that are currently serving as a benchmark for quality assurance and continuing quality improvement among Canada’s private career colleges. Students, employers and others can be confident that a CETAC accredited institution meets or exceeds high standards of quality in Canadian post-secondary education.
