Health Care

Canadian International Health Institute offers the Personal Support Worker program.  It is 640 hours training, including in-class and practicum.  This program deals with providing care to the elderly that reflects a holistic, coordinated and integrated approach to the provision of care required by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, Residents Bill of Rights and the principles of individualized care planning.  PSWs will gain knowledge, skills and competencies required in this field.
