Private career colleges have provided training in Canada since 1868. Every year private career college members of the National Association of Career Colleges, train students for a wide range of careers in fields such as health care, trades, multi-media, business, engineering technology, esthetics, child care, animation and more.
The National Association of Career Colleges (NACC) was established in 1896 to serve private career colleges and their students. NACC is the umbrella organization for affiliated provincial career college associations.
With the ability to adapt quickly to changing demand, the flexibility to offer training options to accommodate the students’ schedules, private career colleges are an integral cost-effective component of the post-secondary education and training sector in Canada.
